Christmassweats & CSR
- We are the only ones working with Christmas textiles to focus on organic cotton, which emits approximately 91% less water in cultivation.
- Without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides.
- All produced in factories with a focus on sustainability.
- In addition, it is produced in factories with the strictest requirements for working conditions, CSR & human rights.
We have launched a collaboration with Save the Children. So with every order placed, you donate the equivalent of a meal for an entire family. In practice, you contribute, among other things, to Save the Children's ability to deliver resilient seeds and grains to a family, so that they can harvest crops and put food on the table.
In some of the worst-hit areas in the world, Save the Children focuses on preventing the consequences of climate change - including by supporting climate adaptation in agriculture, so that families are better equipped to deal with extreme weather. By protecting children against climate-related infectious diseases (such as cholera and typhoid).
By preventing and managing acute illness and malnutrition. And by ensuring children go to school and receive education, so that they have the opportunity to create a better future.
We believe that as a short-term gimmick, we should take a big responsibility. People will buy Christmas clothes no matter what.
But if we can influence people in the right direction - then we feel that our work is done.
We are the only ones in the world with such a comprehensive sustainability program. In addition, we donate +20.000€ to charity - you can read more about that here
No. We have a clear vision to price our products in the same range as many others price, for example, acrylic sweaters.
Of course, it costs more to make, but hopefully we "save" that money in persuading you to make your purchase - so that it pays for itself.
We have chosen to be as transparent as possible.
That is why we are also GOTS certified, which is recognized as the highest certificate, and most difficult to obtain, within textiles made from organic cotton.
It is quite simple because the entire value chain from farm to us must account for how the materials have been treated.
As well as that we comply with comprehensive human rights requirements, wastewater management and the freedom to be a member of trade unions.
It sounds elementary, but in many countries these things are not taken for granted.
We donate a minimum amount of €20,000. In addition, Save the Children receives an uncut 10% of the revenue from the sale of our Collab sweater.
The money goes to the Save the Children Children Disaster Fund. The fund ensures, among other things, that children go to school and that children and families in areas where food is scarce and the climate is unpredictable can have food on the table.

International cooperation
We are proud to be able to present a collaboration with Save the Children throughout Europe.
We have made a Christmas sweater with UNICEF, DanChurchAid, Plan Børnefonden, among others, on many occasions and even have a Christmas sweater in collaboration with WWF this year.
However, we have chosen to go a step further and intensively engage in a deeper collaboration with Save the Children / Save The Children.
Because all children have the right to a safe and secure upbringing with food on the table and the opportunity to go to school.
But today, climate change poses one of the greatest threats to children's most basic rights and future.
Children born today will, on average, experience extreme weather, such as heat waves, seven times more than their grandparents.
This means that the problems that children around the world are already struggling with will worsen.
More are starving, more are on the run, and more are losing the opportunity to go to school.
That is why we support Save the Children's fight for children all over the world, who are currently feeling the severe consequences of the climate crisis.
Why Save the Children?
Why Save the Children?
The fact that we ended up with Save the Children as our major partner is due to several things.
1. They help children in need, and through your order we help donate school supplies, meals and basic necessities to children in need around the world.
2. Save the Children is the initiator of "International Christmas Jumper day". A day held in December every year. Here you put on your Christmas sweater, and you or your company can donate money to Save the Children. However, we have already done it for you if you have bought your new Christmas clothes through us.
3. Christmas is a celebration of the heart. And although we love animals, ecology and our planet, we also love ensuring better living conditions for children. That is exactly what Save the Children works for. It is a mission right in line with our Christmas spirit. We hope that you will support the collaboration.
