Happy Seasons was founded in Denmark in 2016 by two best friends who believed festive clothing could be fun without feeling disposable.

A simple idea.

Apparently, it needed saying.

Every motif is created by our own design team. We develop the characters, patterns, colour combinations and small details ourselves.

We do not buy a standard reindeer from an image library, place it on a generic sweater and write a long paragraph about Scandinavian creativity.

Not our style.

Danish design does not have to mean beige, silent and extremely serious. Sometimes it means a clean Nordic pattern in navy and cream.

Sometimes it means Santa has had an interesting evening.

Both still require thought, balance and a sweater that works when somebody actually puts it on.

Danish design does not mean that we pretend every stitch is made in Aarhus.

It means we create the collections in Denmark, choose the materials, work directly with our production partners, inspect the products, hold the stock and ship your order from Denmark.

Most of our products are manufactured by partner factories in Bangladesh. A smaller number are produced in China, depending on the material, construction and technical details of the design.

We would rather tell you that clearly.

The cotton feels soft and breathable, while the dense knit gives the sweater a substantial feel. These are designed as proper knitted garments – not thin costume tops that happen to look convincing in one carefully lit photograph.

Recycled polyester

Recycled polyester allows for clear graphics, detailed patterns and strong shape retention. It is used in selected designs where a different structure or finish works better than traditional cotton knitwear.

It does not feel identical to cotton.

Polyester and acrylic

Polyester and acrylic are used for selected designs with powerful shades, LEDs, sequins or complex three-dimensional elements.

A sweater containing electronics has different requirements from a classic cotton knit.

How should a Christmas sweater fit?

How to wash your Christmas sweater

Always follow the care label on the individual product. Materials and decorative details vary.

The label wins.

As a general guide:

• wash at 30°C,
• turn the sweater inside out first,
• wash with similar shades,
• use a mild detergent,
• avoid tumble drying,
• gently reshape the sweater after washing.

If the sweater has LEDs, always remove the battery box before washing. Do not reconnect it until the garment and every electronic connection are completely dry.

After a short evening, airing the sweater may be enough.
