Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. General Information

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on www.shophappyseasons.com ("the Website"). When you place an order, you accept the terms set out below. The contract language is English.


2. Payment

We accept Visa, Applepay, Mastercard, and any other payment methods offered via Shopify Payments. No card‑handling fees are charged by HappySeasons.

Your card will be charged only when the goods are dispatched from the warehouse. We will never debit a larger amount than you authorised at checkout.

2.1 Pre‑authorisation (Reservation)

If you use an international payment card (e.g. Visa or Mastercard), your card issuer will automatically reserve the order amount when the payment is approved.
The issuer also decides when a reserved amount is released if an order is cancelled.


3. Delivery

All orders are shipped with DHL Express.

3.1 Destinations

We currently deliver to all European countries except Norway and Switzerland, as well as to Canada, the United States, Australia, Japan, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and South Korea.

3.2 Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and range from €0 – €35, depending on destination and parcel size/weight.

3.3 Delivery Time

Indicative transit times are:

  • Europe: 1 – 3 business days

  • North America, Oceania, South America & Asia‑Pacific: 2 – 5 business days

4. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling‑off Period)

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. You may also exchange your purchase for another size, product, or a gift card within 100 days, provided the item has not been used.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us via our returns portal within the 14‑day period:

You may also use the standard withdrawal form in Section 11 below.

Important: Simply refusing to accept the parcel is not considered a valid withdrawal.

4.1 Partial Withdrawal

If you purchased multiple items in one order, you may return one or more of them. Initial shipping costs are not refunded when only part of an order is returned.

4.2 Returns Procedure

Create your return within 14 days of receipt and send the goods back no later than 14 days after that.

  1. Open the returns portal, enter your e‑mail and order number, and select the items to return.

  2. Choose the reason for return and your preferred refund method.

  3. Confirm; a DHL Express return label will be generated and e‑mailed to you.

  4. Print the label, pack the items securely with a copy of your order confirmation, affix the label, and drop off the parcel at a DHL service point.

The return label is purchased through us and costs up to €30. This amount is deducted from your refund.

For exchanges, you pay the return cost (up to €30) and HappySeasons pays the outbound shipping of the replacement item.

Please keep the postal receipt and tracking number. The customer bears the risk for the goods until we receive them.

Packages sent “cash on delivery” will not be accepted.

4.3 Condition of Returned Goods

You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods (i.e., the way you would examine them in a physical store). If the product is used more than that, we may refund only part—or none—of the purchase price, depending on the item’s resale value.

4.4 Uncollected Parcels

If you do not collect your parcel and it is returned to HappySeasons, we will deduct the original shipping cost plus a handling fee of €15 from any refund.


5. Refunds

When you withdraw from a purchase, we refund the amount paid for the returned products minus shipping/return costs and any depreciation for which you are liable. Refunds are processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have supplied proof of return.

Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

6. Warranty (Complaints)

Purchases are covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act and, if you are a consumer, the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. You have a 24‑month warranty against manufacturing defects. Depending on the situation, you may have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or receive a price reduction.

The warranty is valid provided the defect is not caused by incorrect use or other damaging behaviour.

6.1 How to File a Complaint

Contact Customer Service at info@shophappyseasons.com and describe the problem in as much detail as possible; include photos if relevant. This is not mandatory, but it speeds up processing.

If the complaint is accepted, we will send you a free return label.

You must complain within a “reasonable time” after discovering the defect—complaints within two months are always considered timely.

Packages sent cash‑on‑delivery will not be accepted.

7. Privacy Policy

In order to fulfil your order, we need the following information:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Telephone number

  • E‑mail address

We register and pass on the personal data that is necessary to deliver the goods to you. The data are stored for five years and then deleted.

We work with carefully selected data processors who store and process data on our behalf and who may not use them for their own purposes. We only partner with processors in the EU or in countries that ensure adequate data protection.

If you believe the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. Contact info@shophappyseasons.com.


8. Complaints Procedure (Alternative Dispute Resolution)

If you wish to complain about your purchase, please e‑mail Director Christoffer Sloth Henriksen at info@shophappyseasons.com.
